Talya Galasko is a Cape Town-based writer and director specializing in creating original branded content and short films. Over the years she has managed to create an immersive world for her viewers by pairing a performance-based approach to directing with a distinct visual aesthetic. Formative experience as a copywriter and editor is  evident, as narrative is at the heart of everything she does.

Talya’s work is colorful and provocative, and with every new project her unique film language and personal style continue to develop. Her films have screened in New York, Paris, Berlin, Toronto and more, and she is the recipient of 3 venerable Vimeo Staff Picks. 

Talya is currently represented at Mercy.
